You can Click Here to ask about our availability at the moment.

Do I have to be present the entire time for the detail?

It is not necessary for you to be there the entire time or at all. We just need access to the vehicle and enough room to work. As far as payment, we can send you an online link to pay. That way you can continue with your day while we work.

Can you detail at my job or apartment?

At your apartments, yes. 9 out of 10 times we can perform the detail at your job. The only thing we ask is if you can confirm that we’re allowed on the premises. Property management sometimes does not like/allow detailers to perform work on-site.

Do you accept cards?

Yes, we accept both cash and card (Zelle and Venmo). Whichever you prefer. We do not accept checks or money orders.

Is there a mobile fee charge in order to come out?

We do not charge a mobile fee to service your vehicle. That's why we ask for your location to make sure we are the right fit for you.

Does this remove scratches, water spots, or roughness from the paint?

Our Prime Wash is a maintenance-focused service. It’s not meant for any thorough cleaning or polishing of the paint. If you want to remove water spots or scratches, that’ll be paint correction.

Can you wash my car at my location?

Yes, we’re a self-equipped mobile detailing unit. We carry our own water and power so we can get the job done at your location, whether that’s your house, apartment, or work location. At this time, we do not offer our Premium Wash as a standalone service. It’ll have to be paired with another service. Our Maintenance Interior Detail is a good pairing option for this service.

What’s the difference between the local car wash and your Prime Wash?

You’re correct, they are both car washes, but we take our process to a higher degree to give you a better end result.

For instance, we use a safe washing and drying method to not introduce swirls and scratches, we blow out all the water from the nooks and crannies, we clean the door jambs, we use brushes to get to cracks and crevices, we add a spray wax for shine, depending on the situation we use deionized water to eliminate water spot issues and dress the tires and fenders.

Wash & Wax FAQs

Will this remove scratches from my paint?

Technically it will hide and cover the micro scratches on your paint. The wax essentially puts a layer of protection over your paint that fills in some of those scratches. This is what creates the shine.

If you want a higher level of shine by actually removing swirls and scratches, then that would be paint correction.

How long does the wax last?
This is based on how you store and take care of your vehicle. If it’s sitting outside 90% of the time, then the wax won’t last as long since it’s always being beaten up by the sun, rain, bird poo, etc… You can expect about 3 to 4 months of protection.

If your car is parked in the garage at work and home 90% of the time, then you can get 4 to 6 months of protection. Especially if you wash your car and add a spray wax each time. (Prime wash/Detail is a great way to increase the longevity of a Wash & Wax)

Do you clay bar the paint?
Of course! Before we apply the wax, your paint has to be cleaned of any loose dirt or bonded contaminants so the wax can adhere to your paint properly. We perform a detailed wash with brushes and different tools to get to cracks and crevices, We mechanically (clay bar) and chemically (iron remover) decontaminate the paint.                 Find videos of our claying process on our social media...

What kind of wax do you use?
There are so many products on the market now. It’s crazy. We use brands like Meguiar’s Griot’s Garage, Chemical Guys, and a few more. All of which are high quality. Our go-to Wax or Sealant is Griot's Garage Finishing Sealant, according to our tests and the long time using this product, it is long-lasting and provides a great finish/shine to your car's paint.

My paint feels rough. Will this service take care of that?
It sure will! Your paint can feel rough because of two things: One, maybe it’s just been a while since you’ve last clayed the paint and there’s a lot of stuck-on dirt on the paint. The second reason could be paint overspray landed on your vehicle. A clay bar application can solve this problem.

How long does this service take
It depends on the size and condition of your car. Generally speaking, between 2 to 3 hours. (Wash & Wax only)

How long does it take to polish my vehicle?

This is one of the most tedious and time-consuming services we offer. The time it takes to complete your vehicle is based on the size, condition, and end-result you want. Even if it’s a 2-door vehicle but you want a high level of correction, it can take 8 or more hours to complete. On that same 2-door vehicle but you only want light polish, it can take 5 hours. It just depends.

Can you do the work at my location or do I bring it to you?

Of all the services we offer, paint correction requires the most criteria in terms of the space and environment we’re in. We need a clean work environment to polish the vehicle without dust and debris continually falling onto the paint. (We usually perform a paint correction job at our Client's home or apartment)

Most of the time we can do the service at your location, but there will be a few times where the service will take more than a day (or maybe the work area isn’t ideal)

Does this remove or hide the swirls and scratches?

Paint correction removes the swirls from your paint entirely. The only time you’ll see swirls and scratches is if you reinstall them back into your paint via improper washing and drying of the vehicle.

Do you offer ceramic coatings?

Yes! We have 3 choices of ceramic coatings to fit your needs. In order for us to install the coating, your paint will have to go through our paint correction process. We offer professional-grade ceramic coatings varying from 3 to 9 years of durability.

I have water spots on my car. Will paint correction remove it?

Yes, any imperfections in the paint like swirls, scratches, paint transfer, and water spots can be removed through paint correction.

My clear coat is peeling, does paint correction fix this?

Unfortunately, if your clear coat is peeling, which we call clear coat failure, then there’s not much a detailer can do. At that point, you’ll need the vehicle to be resprayed. If there’s only a little bit of clear coat failure on a certain panel, then your paint can still be saved.

How long does it take to clean my interior?

It depends on the size and condition of the vehicle. Generally speaking, between 2.5 to 4.5 hours. Once we see the condition, we can give you a more accurate time range.

Will my car smell like chemicals once you’re done?

Absolutely NOT. We do not use harsh chemicals and there will be zero traces of any smell other than your clean car. To this day, we’ve never had a customer mention anything about a chemical smell.

What’s your cleaning process?

We use a variety of brushes, cleaners, and machines to thoroughly clean your interior. How we clean an interior is primarily based on the condition and type of material. Sometimes it just needs a quick cleaning with a brush, other times, it needs the steamer and extractor. The steamer is always to be used on a Full Interior Cleaning.

We’ve cleaned hundreds of interiors by now and have proven methods to tackle a variety of conditions. So you’re in good hands!

How long does it take for the seats to dry after a shampoo?

When it’s relatively warm outside, by the time we’re done with the interior, the carpets and seats should be 90% dry. It’ll take another hour for them to be completely dry. If it’s cold outside, it takes much longer to dry as the water doesn’t escape as easily from the fabrics. With that being said, we never oversaturate your fabric. You’re not going to see puddles of water or anything.

Additionally, we use a specific upholstery tool designed to not oversaturate the surface with water. This makes the drying time much faster.

Are you able to remove every stain?

We’re 100% confident in our skills and knowledge to get your interior cleaned to the best condition possible. However, some stains are maybe far too gone for us to completely remove them. Regardless, we’ll do everything we can to make it look its best. If we can’t remove it, we’ll at least make it look significantly better.

Do you repair upholstery?

At this time we do not repair any upholstery like torn leather or sagging headliners. We strictly clean and detail.

Do you remove seats to get underneath them?

With the tools, products, and knowledge we have, we’re able to reach a lot of areas in the interior without having to remove the seats. So we do not remove seats.

Can you remove the odor from my vehicle?

Cleaning an interior to make it look better is different from removing an odor from the vehicle. We can definitely remove the odor, but it takes additional steps before we get to the odor removal part of it. We first have to thoroughly clean the interior, then we’ll use a fogger or Ozone machine to eliminate the smell

What’s the difference between the Mini-Interior Detail and the Full Interior Cleaning?

For the Full Interior Cleaning, we’ll clean your entire interior from top to bottom, front to rear, to the best condition possible. The Mini-Interior Detail is a thorough vacuuming and wipedown of the dust that’s accumulated on the surfaces. It’s more of an upkeep service. It is still a great cleaning using brushes and attention to detail.

Does the Mini-Interior Detail remove stains or pet hair?

Yes, if you have something specific in mind you want to be cleaned, just let us know when requesting a quote. Of course, the price will be higher for the additional work we provide but we can definitely take care of that for you.

How long does this service take to complete?

It depends on the size and condition of the vehicle, but generally speaking, it takes under one and a half hours to complete.

I’m not sure if I need the Mini-Interior Detail or the Full Interior Cleaning.

No problem! Just send us some photos of your car's interior and we can suggest which option is best for you.

Basic Interior Detail

General Information

Dash, Console, doors, etc...

This specific area should not be over thought. Cleaning the dashboard, console, doors, and really all hard/textured surfaces inside the car can be very simple. This however is a place where many detailers slack and ultimately give very disappointing results. There are so many cracks and crevices within these areas that are easy to overlook, and trust me... most detailers will! Again, I've found that they are much more interested in taking your money than they are in doing a quality job. That is where Wow Wash Auto Detailing stands apart. Because, I have learned how to cut to the chase, not waste time, and provide the results that my customers are after.

Regarding problem areas with the textured pieces inside the car, the main issue I've found that may be problematic for a do-it-yourself person is called a "scuff mark." Most of the time these will appear on the threshold plate, and the lower part of the door where people drag their feet. I've attached a picture below in order to help you visualize it. You can be sure if you have had your car for any length of time, you will see them. Most detailers lack the knowledge and experience on how to remove these and thus, another area over looked. Again I have learned how to cut to the chase and provide the "new car look" that my customers are after without separating you from your money!

Car Washing

Car Washing is more than likely something that everyone understands is necessary upkeep with a car, however, even in this area, I've found my customers are still very uninformed. This is also an area where the detailing forums, the industry, products, and tools can be very confusing. We will start with washing itself:

Car washing is a relatively simple task however here are some things to avoid: Do not use dish soap! I am not going to explain, just trust me, that is a terrible idea. Go to the closest auto store and buy some dedicated car soap. Which specific brand you buy, in this area, is not very important.

Some products are only cleaners, some are "wash and wax," and there are more options still. Do not get caught up in which one to buy, just choose. Many detailing forums will talk about something called the "2 bucket wash method." What they mean by this, is during the washing process, the detailer will use one bucket for the soapy water, and another bucket for only clean water. After they have used the wash mitt or sponge on the car, they will ring it out using the pure water bucket in order to get all the dirt out of the wash mitt or sponge before using it again on the car paint. This is all in an effort to avoid scratching the car paint. If you would like to use this strategy... go for it! Personally, I choose to avoid it simply because over the years I have figured out more efficient and effective strategies.

Car washing is meant to remove the surface dirt from the paint. It is very important to understand this because if you are a daily driver, you will have road grime, tar, bugs, and more on your car paint that will not come off through simple washing! In the detailing process, washing is only the first step.
